JBL Grip portable Bluetooth speaker, Blue JBLGRIPBLU
Easy to grab and easy to hold, the JBL Grip is the speaker that’s always within reach. The JBL Grip is powerful for its size. JBL Grip may be compact, but its pro sound is big—punchy bass and crystal-clear highs. Whether it’s setting the vibe for mindful morning stretches or soundtracking lazy beach days, the JBL Grip is our go-to. The built-in ambient light on the back panel adapts to the moment, so you can set the mood for chill date nights and spontaneous hangs. Use the convenient side-panel control button to switch between light themes, so the mood is always right whether you're winding down or turning up. Did we mention it’s super tough? The JBL Grip is built to handle anything. With an industry-leading IP68 waterproof and dustproof rating, it goes wherever we do. Its drop-proof design means it can survive a hard fall onto concrete—no party fouls here. All that, plus up to 14 hours of playtime with Playtime Boost. When friends roll through, we’re using Auracast™ to stereo pair two Grips for instant surround sound. Why stop there? We can connect as many JBL Auracast™-enabled speakers as we’ve got for an all-out sound experience. Solo chillin’ or vibing with the crew—the JBL Grip is as flexible as we are.
Key Features:
Bold JBL Pro Sound
The JBL Grip may be small enough to hold in one hand, but it packs bold JBL Pro Sound. With AI Sound Boost, it analyzes music in real time, using an algorithm to optimize output for bigger sound with less distortion.
Up to 14 hours of playtime
Keep the mood going for 12 hours on a single charge—plus an extra 2 hours with Playtime Boost when the vibes are too good to stop.
Ambient light
The speaker’s back panel features an integrated ambient light with unique themes and color options, so you can set the mood to match your mix. Use the JBL Portable app to fine-tune the brightness and lock in your preferred look.
Waterproof, dustproof, and drop-proof
We designed the JBL Grip to handle the bumps and bruises of everyday fun. Along with its waterproof and dustproof IP68 rating, it’s also drop-proof—built to keep playing even after a 1-meter drop onto concrete.
Multi-speaker connection with Auracast™
Want to share the vibes with the crew? With Auracast™, we can easily stereo pair two Grip speakers for a wider soundstage or connect multiple JBL Auracast™-enabled speakers to fill the space with the same playlist.

Why Buy?
A tough little JBL speaker that goes wherever you do
If you want a JBL speaker that fits in one hand but still fills a room, the JBL Grip in blue is built for exactly that. It is small enough to toss in a bag yet delivers a fuller, punchier sound than its size suggests.
Real-time sound processing pushes the bass and clears up the highs so music sounds crisp whether you are stretching in the lounge room or blasting tunes at the beach. An IP68 rating means it shrugs off rain, sand, dust and pool splashes, and it is built to survive a hard drop onto concrete, so you are not babying it around the house or on outings. Up to 14 hours of playtime means it keeps going through a full day of listening without needing to hunt for a charger.
The ambient light on the back panel adds a bit of atmosphere for evening hangs, with side controls to flick between light themes without pulling out your phone. It is genuinely portable, easy to hold, and simple to live with day to day. When mates bring their own JBL speaker along, you can pair up for wider stereo sound instead of listening solo.
