Claiming your EOFY purchase on tax

If you're a small business owner, sole trader, or you use your equipment for work, the 30 June 2026 cut-off matters: the purchase must be made and ready for use by that date to count toward the 2025–26 financial year. The ATO's current instant asset write-off threshold for small business (turnover under $10m) is $20,000 per eligible asset. Tax rules change year to year, so check with your accountant before making a tax-driven purchase. We can issue a tax invoice on any sale, in-store or online.

The Australian financial year ends on 30 June, so EOFY sales typically run through the back half of June. Our EOFY deals roll out throughout the month - the earlier you shop, the better the chance of grabbing the model you've had your eye on before it sells out.

Q. Can I Click & Collect during the EOFY Sale?

Yes. With 1 Hour Click & Collect on eligible in-stock items, you can order online and pick up from your local Bing Lee store in as little as an hour. Just choose Click & Collect at checkout, select your preferred store, and we'll have your order ready to grab and go.

Q. Does Bing Lee price match during the EOFY Sale?

Yes - our price match policy applies all year round, including during EOFY. If you find a competitor's lower advertised price (including GST and delivery) on the same in-stock item at the time of purchase, we'll match it. Just chat with us online or give us a call before you check out. T&Cs apply.

Q. Can I use PayPal Pay in 4 at Bing Lee?

Yes - you can Pay in 4 with PayPal at checkout. No interest or late fees. PayPal Pay in 4 is for eligible purchases between $30–$2,000 AUD. Available to Australian residents with an Australian PayPal account. Eligibility is subject to your PayPal account status with a credit assessment, which may require a credit check. Pay in 4 is a form of credit - consider whether you can afford the repayments, as use of this product may impact your credit score.

Q. Can I claim my EOFY purchase on tax?

If you're a small business owner or sole trader buying equipment for work, you may be able to claim it as a tax deduction. We always recommend chatting to your accountant or tax adviser to confirm what you can claim and how to claim it.
