Why Buy?
A dependable 60cm gas cooktop for everyday family cooking
This Westinghouse 60cm gas cooktop gives you four burners, including a proper wok burner, so you can cook a full meal without juggling pots on a cramped surface. If you are after a straightforward westinghouse 60cm gas cooktop that fits a standard benchtop and works from the day it is installed, this stainless steel model does the job without any learning curve.
Gas gives you instant, visible heat control, so you can turn a flame up for a quick stir-fry or right down to a gentle simmer and see the change straight away. The 12.1MJ/h wok burner brings the high heat needed to properly sear meat or get a good char on vegetables, while the flat trivets keep pots and pans steady across the whole cooktop surface. Under-knob ignition means lighting a burner is a simple twist, even with wet or full hands, and a flame failure device automatically cuts the gas if a flame goes out, so you are not left wondering if it is still on.
At 600mm wide, it slots into most standard kitchen layouts, and the clear, laser-etched control graphics make it easy for anyone in the household to use straight away. It also comes with an LPG conversion kit, so it works whether your home runs on mains gas or bottled gas, which is handy if you ever renovate or move house. Backed by a 2-year warranty, it is built to handle daily cooking without fuss.
