Why Buy?
One press that handles toasties, steaks and breakfast fry-ups
If you want a sunbeam sandwich press that does more than squash cheese toasties, this 4-slice model adjusts to any height so it can sear a steak, fry bacon and eggs, or grill a stack of sandwiches without flattening the filling.
The AnyHeight Control lever locks the lid at the level you need, so a thick steak cooks properly instead of being pressed flat, while thinner snacks still get that golden, evenly toasted finish. It heats up in around 2 minutes, so steaks can go on the plate within 3 minutes of switching on, and the non-stick plates with curved corners wipe clean in seconds once cooking's done. Making four sandwiches or wraps at once means less standing around during a busy breakfast rush.
At 345mm wide it sits neatly on most benchtops, and it folds upright for storage with the cord tucked away underneath, so it doesn't hog cupboard space. This sunbeam cafe style sandwich press suits households that cook a real range of meals, not just toasties, and it's backed by a 2-year warranty.
Buy this if…
- You want one appliance for toasties, grilling and frying instead of three
- Your household needs four sandwiches or wraps done at once
- You cook steaks, bacon or eggs as often as toasted sandwiches
- Bench and cupboard space is limited but you still want flexibility
- You'd rather wipe down non-stick plates than scrub a pan
