PERFECT BLEND OF ARTISTRY & FUNCTIONALITY
Like other timeless designs, the original Smeg FAB refrigerator is more than just a mere fridge. It’s the focal point of the kitchen, bringing together unquestionable style and premium performance. Always evocative and eclectic, FAB fridges have become standard bearers for “Made in Italy” design all over the world with their inimitable blend of artistry and functionality.
LIFE PLUS 0°C DRAWER
This drawer provides a controlled temperature zone for better and longer preservation of perishable food such as meat, fish and dairy products. When positioning these appliances next to an adjacent wall or kitchen unit gap of 200mm must be left on the hinged side of the product to allow the door to open.
MULTI-FLOW COOLING SYSTEM
MultiFlow accelerated air circulation technology provides a constant temperature in all section of the refrigerator, except for the Fresh Plus Zone where the temperature is maintained around 0°C. Compared to conventional systems, the multi-flow cooling system delivers the most efficient cooling of food, keeping the freshness, aroma, and nutrients of fruit, vegetables, and meat much longer
LEADING PERFORMANCE
FAB50 refrigerators are A++ rated for energy efficiency, What's more, the FAB50 is low mantanance too thanks to its no-frost air circulation system preventing frost, mould and bad odour build up. Why Buy?
A bold red centrepiece with genuine everyday fridge performance
If you are searching for a red smeg fridge that does more than look good, this Smeg FAB50 retro refrigerator pairs its rounded 1950s styling with a 524 litre capacity that comfortably handles a busy household's weekly shop.
Inside, the Life Plus 0°C drawer keeps meat, fish and dairy at a steady low temperature so they stay fresher for longer, while the MultiFlow cooling system circulates air evenly through the rest of the fridge to stop warm pockets forming. No-frost operation means you are not stuck defrosting ice build-up, and LED lighting makes it easy to see what you have got at a glance, right down to the back of the shelf. A 4.5 star energy rating also helps keep running costs sensible for a fridge this size.
Standing at 1931mm tall, 796mm wide and 851mm deep, it is a proper full-size fridge rather than a space-saver, so it suits kitchens with room to let its curves and red finish stand out. The right-hand hinge works well in layouts with bench space to the left, and three glass shelves plus a manual ice tray are included to get you started. Painted steel construction gives it the solid, reassuring feel of Smeg fab50 fridges.
