Why Buy?
A neatly mowed lawn without pushing a mower around
The Dreame A1 Pro robotic lawn mower maps your yard and mows it on its own, so you get an evenly trimmed lawn without spending your Saturday behind a mower. It sets up boundaries wirelessly using a 3D LiDAR sensor, so there is no buried cable or fiddly base station to bury first.
Once it has mapped your yard, the A1 Pro cuts with a precision down to 1cm and follows a U-shape path that covers the whole area evenly, so you avoid the missed patches or stripy finish that come from rushing a mow. Its obstacle detection works in three dimensions, so it moves around garden furniture, toys, garden beds and uneven ground instead of colliding with them. Rain sensors hold off mowing in wet weather, protecting the grass and keeping the mower running well for longer.
Day to day, it fits quietly into a busy household. Control it through the app to check on progress, adjust mowing zones, or set a schedule around when the kids or pets are outside, and it can maintain a yard up to 1,000 square metres within a 24-hour cycle. It copes with low light, sloped ground and cluttered spaces, which suits most typical Australian backyards.
Buy this if…
- You want a consistently mowed lawn without doing the mowing yourself
- Your yard has obstacles like furniture, garden beds or uneven ground
- You prefer wire-free setup over installing boundary cables
- You want to check on or adjust mowing from your phone
- You have a larger yard and want the work spread out automatically
