This convenient pocket-sized radio is small enough to be truly portable, while the large dial scale and luminous pointer make it easy to see and use – even in the dark! Even better, the P50D radio offers new features to expand AM reception range and simply tuning.
Key Features:
New Tuner with AFC
The new tuner features an Auto Frequency Control (AFC) function to expand the AM radio reception range and simplify tuning, eliminating the need for exact tuning precision by automatically selecting the nearest station. Noise is also reduced1 while tuning to enhance listening comfort.

Why Buy?
Pocket-sized radio with clear AM and FM reception
This Panasonic portable radio is built for simple, reliable listening wherever you go, and if you have been searching for a panasonic am fm radio that just works without fuss, this one fits neatly in a pocket or bag at only 117.4mm tall.
Finding a station is easy thanks to the new tuner with Auto Frequency Control, which locks onto the nearest AM station automatically and cuts down on the hiss and static you get from manual tuning. The large dial scale makes frequency numbers easy to read at a glance, and the luminous pointer means you can still find your station in a dark room or during a power cut. There is no screen to squint at and no menus to work through, just a dial and a speaker.
Running on standard batteries rather than mains power, this panasonic pocket radio is happy sitting in the kitchen, the shed, or a bag for camping and road trips. It suits anyone who wants dependable news and music access without relying on WiFi or a phone signal, and it is small enough to tuck into a drawer or glovebox until you need it.
