Miele EcoSpeed & 9kg T1 heat-pump dryer, White TWD640WP
The Miele TWD640WP EcoSpeed & 9 kg is a T1 heat-pump dryer offering fast, energy-efficient drying with EcoSpeed and DryCare 40 programs. It features HygieneDry for hygienic results, DirectSensor controls, and Miele@home connectivity—perfect for large households wanting quick, gentle, and smart drying.
Key Features:
PerfectDry
Minerals affect the measurement of residual moisture, which in turn has a direct effect on your drying results. PerfectDry measures the current mineral content of the water and adapts the drying process accordingly so that your laundry is dried perfectly – the results are neither too damp nor too dry.
Miele@home
Smart networking Enjoy modern convenience by connecting your tumble dryer to the Miele app. This allows you to control your appliance from anywhere in your home. Receive notifications when your laundry is ready, monitor energy consumption, create customised programmes and much more.
Wash2Dry1
Your washing machine uses the Wash2Dry networking function1 to send the data to the tumble dryer at the end of the wash cycle. The tumble dryer then automatically selects the correct programme. All you have to do is take your laundry out of the washing machine, put it into the tumble dryer, switch on the tumble dryer and select Wash2Dry. Enjoy clothes that have been dried to perfection.
ProfiEco motor2
The ProfiEco motor from Miele is a powerful inverter drive that deploys its energy economically and quietly. Thanks to its electronic control system without carbon brushes, it operates almost wear-free. This innovative design ensures many years of efficient, worry-free and convenient laundry care.
HygieneDry drying level
Miele always puts hygiene first, including when it comes to our tumble dryers. The HygieneDry drying level reliably removes 99.99% of bacteria and 99.9% of viruses from your laundry, thanks to especially long temperature holding times, and is suitable for fabrics with 2 dots on the wash-care label. Its effectiveness has been confirmed by the Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences and Albstadt-Sigmaringen respectively.3
1 For this function to work, the tumble dryer and washing machine must be registered in the internal network and in the App.
2 Patent EP 2 840 679

Why Buy?
Fast, gentle drying for big family loads
This Miele heat pump dryer 9kg gives busy households a way to dry large loads quickly without the harsh heat that wears out fabrics over time. As a Miele heat pump tumble dryer, it uses energy efficiently, so you get dry clothes without watching your power bill climb.
The EcoSpeed and DryCare 40 programs mean you are not stuck waiting around for laundry, while PerfectDry automatically adjusts to your water quality so clothes come out neither damp nor over-dried. HygieneDry removes 99.99 percent of bacteria and 99.9 percent of viruses, which matters if anyone in the house has allergies or you just want laundry that feels properly clean. The quiet ProfiEco motor runs without carbon brushes, so it keeps working reliably load after load without adding noise to your home.
Once your washing machine and dryer are connected, Wash2Dry takes the guesswork out of laundry day. The washer sends the right program straight to the dryer, so all you do is move the clothes across and press start. DirectSensor controls keep everyday use simple, and Miele@home lets you check on a cycle or get a finished notification from wherever you are in the house.
