Safety functions
Best protection in every situation: the system lock provides reliable protection against accidental or unauthorised switching on. If a cooking zone has been operating at the same power level for an unusually long time or there is no pan on the cooktop, it will switch off automatically. The residual heat indicator is another useful feature: it reminds you not to touch the cooking zones when they are still hot.
Convenient additional functions
Added convenience when cooking: with the Stop & Go function all cooking zones can be reduced to power level 1 at the press of a button, allowing you to leave the cooktop unattended for a short time. The Keeping warm function keeps food at serving temperature. As an extra benefit, you can set the timer so the cooking zone switches off automatically when the time has elapsed. The Recall function ensures that your settings are saved for 10 seconds.
Permanent pan detection
All you have to do is switch on the cooktop – if there is already a pan on a cooking zone, the corresponding control element will be activated automatically. So there is no need to switch on the individual cooking zones manually. The size of the pan is also detected automatically to ensure particularly efficient energy usage.

Why Buy?
Quick, easy cooking control for everyday meals
This Miele induction cooktop 60cm gives you fast, precise heat exactly where you need it, so dinner comes together quicker without watching a pot that never seems to boil.
Induction heats the pan directly rather than warming the glass around it, so water boils sooner, sauces respond the moment you turn the dial down, and your kitchen stays cooler while you cook. The three cooking zones are sized differently to suit everything from a small saucepan of vegetables to a large stockpot, so you are not stuck juggling pans on one oversized ring. Once you are done, the flat ceramic glass surface wipes clean with a cloth, since there are no grates, burners or ridges to trap spilt sauce or boiled-over milk.
At 620mm wide, this Miele induction cooktop fits standard kitchen cutouts, and the plug-in connection keeps installation simple compared to hardwired options. The black glass finish sits neatly into most kitchen styles, and everyday touches like automatic pan detection, a system lock for households with kids, and a residual heat warning add reassurance without extra fuss. It is the kind of cooktop you switch on and trust to just work, meal after meal.
Buy this if…
- You want a Miele induction cooktop that heats up and responds fast
- You are replacing an old gas or electric cooktop and want easier cleanup
- Your kitchen has a standard 60cm cutout to fill
- You cook a mix of small and large pots most nights
- You want the extra safety of automatic shut-off and a lock for young children
