Why Buy?
Dry dishes ready to put away, no towelling required
The Fisher & Paykel Series 7 Contemporary Dishwasher DW60FC4B2 solves the one thing most dishwashers get wrong — properly dry dishes. Instead of opening the door to a steamy, damp load, this dishwasher's fan-assisted drying and automatic door-opening at the end of the cycle let steam escape so plates, bowls and containers come out genuinely dry.
Seven wash programs, including an Auto setting that reads how dirty your load is and adjusts accordingly, mean you are not stuck guessing between a light rinse and a full intensive wash. The Sanitise modifier kills 99.9% of bacteria in the final rinse, handy for baby bottles and chopping boards, while three-stage filtration keeps food residue from recirculating onto clean dishes. A rinse aid indicator and Dry+ mode for plastics round out a wash that holds up load after load.
At 597mm wide with a 15 place setting capacity, it slots into a standard kitchen space without asking you to compromise on room for family-sized loads. The height-adjustable middle rack, full-width cutlery tray and wine glass supports make loading straightforward, whatever shape the dishes are. A 4.5 star energy rating keeps running costs down, and the Black Steel finish with intuitive touch controls looks at home in a contemporary kitchen.
Buy this if…
- You want dishes that come out dry enough to put straight into the cupboard
- Your household mixes delicate glassware with heavily soiled pots and pans in the same load
- You need a sanitise option for baby items or chopping boards
- You are fitting a dishwasher into a standard 600mm kitchen space
- You want lower energy costs without giving up wash performance
