Why Buy?
Compact modular induction for flexible kitchen layouts
If you are after a 2 burner induction cooktop for Australian kitchens that need more design freedom than a standard fixed unit, this 39cm Fisher & Paykel module lets you build a cooktop layout around how you actually cook, pairing it with matching auxiliary, teppanyaki or ventilation modules.
Induction heat means water boils faster and pans respond the moment you turn the dial, so sauces and delicate simmers are far easier to control than on ceramic or coil cooktops. The two zones can be combined into one large SmartZone for a big pot, roasting pan or griddle, and everything is run from a single touchscreen rather than a row of separate dials. A wireless temperature sensor tracks the exact heat inside your pan and feeds it to the SmartHQ app, so you can check on a simmering sauce or a candy thermometer reading from across the kitchen.
At just 385mm wide, this cooktop suits smaller kitchens, apartments or renovations where a full-width cooktop will not fit, while still giving you real cooking performance. The black glass surface wipes clean quickly, stays cooler to the touch than gas, and sits flush for a tidy benchtop look.
Buy this if...
- You want a 2 burner induction cooktop that fits a narrower benchtop space
- You like the idea of building a modular cooktop over time
- You cook dishes that need quick, accurate temperature changes
- You want app-based temperature monitoring while you cook
- You prefer a glass surface that is quick to wipe down after cooking
