Why Buy?
Rice and slow-cooked meals without watching the pot
The Tefal Easy Rice and Slow Cooker Plus takes the guesswork out of rice night, using smart cooking technology that reads what is in the pot and adjusts time and temperature so grains cook evenly every time. If you have searched for a tefal easy rice and slow cooker that handles more than just rice, this one covers congee, clay pot dishes and slow-braised meals too.
The spherical inner pot spreads heat evenly around every grain instead of just from the base, so rice comes out fluffy rather than clumped or scorched at the edges. Eleven cooking programs mean you pick jasmine, brown, glutinous or quick rice, or switch to steam and slow cook for soups and stews, all from the digital display. The non-stick pot and removable inner lid wipe clean quickly, so dinner does not mean a sink full of scrubbing afterwards.
A 24-hour timer lets you load ingredients before work and set it to finish when you get home, while 12-hour automatic keep-warm means rice stays ready even if dinner gets pushed back. At 750 watts it runs efficiently on the benchtop, and the dark grey finish sits neatly alongside other kitchen appliances without drawing attention.
