Why Buy?
A robot that washes hard floors and dries its own pads
The Dyson R2 Nurovi Wash+Dry robot vacuum takes on the daily floor clean without you lifting a mop, using triangle-shaped pads shaped to push right into corners that round robots and standard mops tend to skip.
An ultrasonic sensor reads what is underneath it as it moves, switching between vacuuming carpet and washing hard flooring so you are not stuck swapping settings or running two machines. The anti-tangle brush bar is built with pet owners in mind, lifting hair and fluff without it wrapping around and clogging the bar, and a side sweeper extends out by 27mm to reach dust sitting along skirting boards and tight edges. Once it finishes a run, the robot washes its own pads in 75°C water and dries them with 45°C hot air, so the next clean starts with a fresh, dry pad rather than a damp, dirty one.
It suits homes where floors cop a proper daily workout from kids, pets or general foot traffic, and where you would rather set a robot going than get the bucket out yourself. Because it cleans and dries between runs, there is nothing to rinse or swap before it heads out again.
Buy this if…
- You want hard floors washed and dried without doing it by hand
- Your household has pets and needs a brush bar that will not clog with hair
- You are tired of robot vacuums leaving corners and edges untouched
- You want a robot that senses carpet versus hard floor and adjusts on its own
- You would rather the machine clean its own pads than deal with a dirty mop head
