BREVILLE THE SMART OVEN ™ PIZZAIOLO, BPZ820BSS
The Pizzaiolo is the first domestic countertop oven to hit 750°F and cook an authentic wood fired style pizza in 2 minutes. It replicates the three types of heat generated by a brick oven - conductive, radiant and convective. Our Element iQ system also replicates the ideal baking environment for New York, Pan, Thin & Crispy and Frozen pizzas. Enjoy the confidence of cooking with Breville+. The full experience is free when you register your oven.
KEY FEATURES:
Element IQ® system
Our Element iQ system's algorithms steer power to where and when it's needed to achieve the optimum cooking performance. Innovative cavity design utilising sensors, PID temperature control and optimised deflector technology - the system adjusts which heating elements are on and the power of each, to ensure your chosen pizza is cooked to perfection.
Favourite pizza styles automatically
The Pizzaiolo comes with a range of preset cooking functions including the authentic "Wood Fired", iconic New York, deep and delicious Pan pizza, bar style Thin & Crispy and even Frozen pizza setting. Impress family and friends and create authentic home made pizzas with recipe cards created by Breville to complement the Pizzaiolo.
Customise with manual mode
Fully customise how the oven functions. The Manual Mode allows you to individually control deck and top temperatures, and to select which heating elements are in operation. Choose the ideal heat configuration: select Crust Only to achieve leopard spotting on a Neapolitan style pizza or Even Heat for other pizza styles where toppings, cheese and dough are evenly browned.
Conductive heat for base char control
The independently controlled, dynamic deck has been designed to sit directly above responsive incoloy heating elements. The natural cordierite stone is heated quickly and evenly to maintain the correct temperature, cooking the pizza base to the desired finish, with the right amount of char for the classic wood fired finish.
Heat retention & safe use
The combination of double-pane heat resistant front window and multi-material insulation surrounding the heat chamber, ensures the extreme temperatures remain inside the oven cavity while keeping the outside surfaces as cool as possible.

Why Buy?
Wood-fired pizza perfection on your kitchen bench
Turn your kitchen into a pizzeria with an oven that reaches the extreme temperatures needed for authentic wood-fired style pizza. In just two minutes, you'll have a properly crispy base with those distinctive charred spots that make restaurant pizza so satisfying.
The natural cordierite stone draws moisture from your dough as it cooks, preventing soggy bottoms while creating that satisfying crisp texture underneath. Whether you're making thin Neapolitan pizzas or thick pan styles, the preset programs handle the timing and temperature automatically. The oven replicates the three types of heat from a traditional brick oven, so your cheese melts evenly, toppings cook through, and the crust develops proper colour and texture every time.
This compact oven fits neatly on your bench and heats up quickly, so there's no waiting around for a full-sized oven to reach temperature. The double-pane window keeps the extreme heat contained while letting you watch your pizza transform. It's simple enough for weeknight dinners but impressive enough when you have guests over for pizza night.

- Your family does regular pizza nights and you're tired of disappointing results
- You prefer quick cooking without heating up your whole kitchen

- You want consistently crispy bases instead of soggy homemade attempts
