Why Buy?
One mixer that grows with your baking ambitions
If you are after a breville stand mixer that can move from everyday cake batter to stiff bread dough without labouring, the Bakery Chef Hub is built for that shift. Its 1000-watt motor and full metal gears mean you are not babying it through thick mixtures, and the planetary mixing action works the entire bowl rather than just the middle.
The double-sided scraper beater keeps pulling mixture off the sides and base as it mixes, so you spend less time stopping to scrape down and more time getting on with the recipe. Seven electronic speeds let you ease into mixing with a soft start, avoiding flour puffs, then move up to a firmer knead when the dough needs it. The push-to-pause dial makes checking consistency or adding ingredients straightforward.
On the bench, it has a settled, solid feel that suits people who bake often rather than occasionally. The attachment hub means the same base unit can take on pasta rolling, mincing or other prep jobs later, without buying a second appliance. Finished in Black Truffle, it sits comfortably in most kitchens without looking out of place, and the overload protection means it is built to handle regular use, not just the odd batch.
Buy this if…
- You bake bread, pizza dough or other dense mixtures often
- You want less time spent scraping bowls by hand
- Your household bakes in bigger batches and needs a mixer that keeps up
- You like the idea of adding pasta or food prep attachments down the track
- You want a stand mixer that feels solid and reliable for regular use
