KEY FEATURES:
Stores your control settings.
If you turn off the cooktop it saves the last selected setting for a short time. If the cooktop is switched of within a short time again the former settings are still available.
Cooking like a chef.
MoveMode makes cooking fully intuitive and comfortable. In the past, you had to adjust the power level if you had just boiled your soup at level 9, let it cook at level 5 and now wanted to simmer it at level 1,5. Now, MoveMode does the job for you. Activating MoveMode divides the cooking zone into three different areas with pre-set power levels. All you have to do is to move the pot from the front area of the zone, where the food is boiled, to the middle, where the food is cooked, and to the back area, where it continues to simmer.
Speed up your cooking.
When cooking time is of the essence. To get meals on the table faster, PowerBoost can help. This practical feature adds a boost of power for ultra-quick heating. When activated you can boil large quantities of water – and heat almost 35% faster compared to the highest power level.
Extra-wide touch control.
DirectSelect Premium has an ultra-wide touch panel for ultimate control. The spacious design and easy-to-read interface make managing your cooktop settings extra convenient. Select your cooking zones, power levels and added options with a simple touch. In line with the overall clean and elegant design the interface discreetly disappears when switched off.
No more scorching heat.
The right temperature is crucial for pan frying. The PerfectFry sensor continuously monitors the pan’s temperature to prevent scorching. Choose from five predefined temperature levels, for perfect results every time.
Flexible induction cooking.
FlexInduction lets you combine two zones into one evenly heated surface. Your cooktop automatically detects the size and position of cookware that’s in the zone. Heat all types of cookware precisely and efficiently.
Steer your rangehood by your cooktop.
Control the functions of your rangehood via your cooktop. Both the cooktop and the associated rangehood are equipped with a Wi-Fi module, enabling them to interact. As soon as your cooktop is activated, your hood is also switched on and starts extracting annoying steam as soon as you start cooking. When you’re done cooking, the rangehood automatically switches off after a brief run-on time, so you can be sure that unpleasant kitchen odours really do disappear. If you want to control the rangehood directly, just activate manual mode on the cooktop controls with the touch of a button. You can then control your rangehood’s power levels via the user interface on your cooktop. In addition to the extraction rate, you can also control the hood lighting via the cooktop. With just one set of controls, you control it all: your cooktop and your rangehood.
Faster cooking, reduced energy consumption. This is Induction.
Induction cooktops generate heat only where it is needed – in the base of the pan. What does this mean for you? More safety and greater convenience. The lower temperature keeps both big and little hands safe from burning. Not only that, but an induction cooktop brings two litres of water to a boil twice as fast as a glass-ceramic cooktop, which also saves a great deal of energy.
Direct cooktop to rangehood control.
Cooking is more convenient when your appliances can directly communicate. Connected via wireless module, your hood automatically turns on when the cooktop is switched on.

Why Buy?
One flexible cooking surface that fits your pots, not the other way round
The Bosch PXV975DV1E is a 90cm induction cooktop that lets you place pots and pans anywhere across its flexible zones, so cookware size stops dictating how you cook. If you have been searching for a Bosch induction cooktop 90cm that handles everything from a small saucepan to a large roasting tray, this is built for exactly that.
Induction heat goes straight into the base of the pan, so water boils in around half the time of a ceramic cooktop and the surrounding surface stays cool to the touch. PowerBoost adds extra power for close to 35 percent faster heating when you are short on time, while the PerfectFry sensor watches pan temperature so frying stays controlled instead of scorched. MoveMode lets you shift a pot across the zone to automatically go from boiling to simmering, which takes the guesswork out of sauces and soups. The wide DirectSelect touch interface stays visible only when needed and wipes clean along with the rest of the black glass surface.
At 90cm wide with a black finish, it suits a modern kitchen renovation where bench space and a streamlined look matter. Where you have a matching Bosch rangehood, the cooktop can also switch it on and manage fan speed and lighting, so one set of controls runs both appliances. Bosch backs the cooktop with the reliability that has made it a CHOICE-recommended brand for cooktops.
Buy this if…

- You want a 90cm cooktop that suits a modern black kitchen design
- You have, or plan to add, a compatible Bosch rangehood you would like to control from the cooktop
- You want precise, easy-clean touch controls rather than dials or knobs
