1. Perfect for rapid boiling (Power level 9 – Front FlexZone)
2. Medium heat cooking (Power level 5 – Middle FlexZone)
3. Ideal for simmering (Power level 1 – Back FlexZone)
Extra-wide touch control.
DirectSelect Premium has an ultra-wide touch panel for ultimate control. The spacious design and easy-to-read interface make managing your cooktop settings extra convenient. Select your cooking zones, power levels and added options with a simple touch. In line with the overall clean and elegant design the interface discreetly disappears when switched off.
Flexible induction cooking.
FlexInduction lets you combine two zones into one evenly heated surface. Your cooktop automatically detects the size and position of cookware that’s in the zone. Heat all types of cookware precisely and efficiently.
No more scorching heat.
The right temperature is crucial for frying. Too high will make even the best steak fry too quickly or scorch it. The PerfectFry sensor continuously monitors the pan’s temperature to prevent scorching heat. Choose from four predefined temperature levels, for perfect results every time.
Cooking like a chef.
MoveMode makes cooking fully intuitive and comfortable. In the past, you had to adjust the power level if you had just boiled your soup at level 9, let it cook at level 5 and now wanted to simmer it at level 1,5. Now, MoveMode does the job for you. Activating MoveMode divides the cooking zone into three different areas with pre-set power levels. All you have to do is to move the pot from the front area of the zone, where the food is boiled, to the middle, where the food is cooked, and to the back area, where it continues to simmer.
Speed up your cooking.
When cooking time is of the essence. To get meals on the table faster, PowerBoost can help. This practical feature adds a boost of power for ultra-quick heating. When activated you can boil large quantities of water – and heat almost 35% faster compared to the highest power level.
Stores your control settings.
If you turn off the cooktop it saves the last selected setting for a short time. If the cooktop is switched of within a short time again the former settings are still available.
Faster cooking, reduced energy consumption. This is Induction.
Induction cooktops generate heat only where it is needed – in the base of the pan. What does this mean for you? More safety and greater convenience. The lower temperature keeps both big and little hands safe from burning. Not only that, but an induction cooktop brings two litres of water to a boil twice as fast as a glass-ceramic cooktop, which also saves a great deal of energy.
CHOICE® Recommended Quality.
Bosch has been named Best Brand 2021 for cooktops by CHOICE®, as top performer in the category. CHOICE® tests cooktops for performance on low and high heat settings, turn-down capacity, ease of use and cleaning, as well as element size, type and positioning
