Why Buy?
Whole-room airflow that still lets you sleep undisturbed
The Philips 1000 Series Pedestal Fan CX1520/01 sends a steady stream of air right across the room rather than a narrow blast at one spot, so everyone nearby feels the cool down, not just the person sitting closest to it.
Airflow reaches up to 30 metres, so it keeps working even from the far side of a large living room, and its output of 3330 cubic metres per hour clears stuffy air quickly once a room has been shut up all day. Three speed settings let you dial up a strong breeze for a fast cool-down or drop back to something gentler for background comfort, and on its lowest setting it runs at just 38dB, about the level of light rain, so it will not talk over the TV or wake a light sleeper. Settings and the timer can be adjusted from across the room using the remote control, and a built-in aroma diffuser adds a light scent to the air while it cools.
A stable pedestal base and adjustable height mean this fan fits easily into a bedroom, living room, study or home office, and the black finish keeps it looking neat wherever it sits. The timer switches the fan off automatically, so it is never left running unattended overnight.
Buy this if…
- You want cooling that reaches the whole room, not just the spot right in front of the fan
- You need a fan quiet enough for a bedroom or home office
- You would rather adjust speed or set a timer without getting up
- Your household moves the fan between rooms and needs it to stand steady wherever it goes
- You like the idea of a light scent in the air while the room cools down
