Key Features:
VACUUM-SEALED FOR FOOD FRESHNESS
The secret to longer-lasting freshness is reduced oxygen levels. Hitachi’s original preservation extracts air to maintain approx. 0.8 atm of vacuum preservation. With unique Platinum Catalyst, chilled meat, fish and dairy products are kept fresh and nutritious, and ready to cook.
REFRESHING TECHNOLOGY MAINTAINS 0.8 ATM VACUUM1
Hitachi innovation at its finest and most consistent: the sealed pressure-resistant vacuum realises and maintains the vacuumed environment. A vacuum pump extracts air and reduces oxygen to achieve approx. 0.8 atm (atmospheric pressure) throughout usage.
SENSOR COOLING
The lower 2 shelves are kept at approx. 2°C. This is lower than the regular refrigerator temperature, so your items stored here retain their freshness. The sensor detects temperature changes and adjusts the cooling power to maintain the 2°C temperature in the right lower compartment.2
AERO-CARE VEGE COMPARTMENT WITH PLATINUM CATALYST
The uniquely-designed compartment sustains freshness and nutrients of the vegetables and fruits with Platinum Catalyst. In addition, the improved airtight seal of compartment increases and controls humidity.
VIP – VACUUM INSULATION PANEL TECHNOLOGY
VIP is a thin panel with a very fine glass fibre vacuum inside, giving an extremely high heat insulation performance - much higher than that of Urethane, a conventional insulation material. It prevents external heat from escaping to achieve exceptional energy savings. Cooling retention is 15 hours, with the highest heat insulation performance during power cut.
1 Vacuum means the space where the pressure is lower than the atmospheric pressure. The pressure in the Vacuum Compartment is about 0.8 atm, which is lower than the atmospheric pressure, hence, Hitachi considers this a vacuum.
2 Tested by Hitachi. The effect may differ depending on conditions and amount of food stored.

Why Buy?
Serious fridge space that keeps food fresher for longer
The Hitachi 735L multi drawer French door fridge suits households who search for a hitachi 735l fridge with real capacity and food that actually lasts, rather than just a bigger box. This is a genuinely large fridge with a 4-star energy rating and a black glass finish that wipes clean easily.
Inside, a vacuum-sealed compartment draws oxygen down to around 0.8 atm, helping meat, fish and dairy stay fresher and more nutritious for longer than in a standard fridge, so less food ends up in the bin. The lower shelves use sensor cooling to hold a steady 2 degrees for items that need extra chill, while the vegetable compartment relies on a platinum catalyst and improved humidity control to stop produce wilting so quickly. Vacuum insulation panels also help the fridge hold its cold for around 15 hours during a power cut, giving some peace of mind if the power drops out.
Everyday use feels easier too. The doors open automatically with a light touch, handy when your arms are full of shopping, and a touch control panel on the door lets you check or adjust settings without opening it up and losing cold air. At 880mm wide, 1833mm high and 738mm deep, it is sized for a proper family kitchen, and the multi drawer French door layout keeps everyday items within easy reach.
