KEY FEATURES:
LOGICAL LAYOUT
Placing the wok burner on the left, rather than the middle of the cooktop, and creating the maximum space between burners, enables the use of multiple burners at once.
ONE PIECE BURNERS
The burner caps are coated with Flex-enamel and the burner bases are finished with Keradur enamel, making them heat and scratch resistant.
FLAME FAILURE PROTECTION
A thermo-electrical flame failure device that is activated within seconds of the flame igniting. Should the flame be extinguished by a draught for example, the gas supply to that burner will immediately be cut-off.
A+ BURNERS
ASKO’s A+ burner design arcs and focuses the flame directly under your pot for faster heating.
Cast iron pan support
We have fitted all of our gas cooktops with extra sturdy pan supports in real cast iron. They provide a perfect and secure support even for very heavy pots and pans and are easy to remove when cleaning the hob.

Why Buy?
Instant gas heat with room for four pots at once
This ASKO gas cooktop 60cm gives you the instant response of a real flame, so you can sear, simmer or stir-fry without waiting for elements to heat up or cool down. Turn the dial and the heat is there straight away, exactly where you set it.
A powerful wok burner sits on the left rather than in the middle, freeing up space so you can run all four burners together without pots bumping into each other. That layout makes it easy to cook a full meal at once, whether that is stir-frying vegetables on high heat while a sauce simmers gently alongside. Cast iron pan supports hold heavy pots and pans steady and lift off easily when it is time to wipe down the stainless steel surface.
Built to handle daily cooking, the one-piece enamelled burners resist scratches and heat marks over time, and a flame failure device automatically shuts off gas to any burner that goes out, so you are not left second-guessing during a busy dinner. At 60cm wide, this ASKO HG1666SD drops into a standard cutout, making it a straightforward swap for most kitchens.
