Key Features:
THERMOSEAL
The seal of Smeg’s quality, technical excellence and taste: succulent roasts, crisp pastry and impressive baking is achieved in Smeg’s unique, perfectly controlled cooking environment. Thermoseal maintains the perfect atmospheric balance in the cavity for optimum cooking conditions.
EVER CLEAN ENAMEL
The superior quality of Smeg’s patented Ever Clean enamel, which is highly durable and easy to clean, is the result of nearly 70 years of enameling expertise; ensuring long-life performance of every Smeg oven.
VAPOUR CLEAN
Smeg’s Ever Clean enamel’s tough surface has a glassy finish, so a simple spray of water and detergent around the cavity in conjunction with the Vapour Clean option will generate heat and steam to soften any grease for a wipe-clean result.

Why Buy?
Gas cooktop control with electric oven reliability for family cooking
The Smeg FS9606XS dual fuel cooker gives you the instant flame control of gas cooking paired with the steady, even heat of an electric oven, all in a 90cm freestanding design that suits busy kitchens wanting more room to move.
Five gas burners let you adjust heat on the fly, from a gentle simmer to a rolling boil, while the 126-litre electric oven holds its temperature evenly for roasts, bakes and pastry that cook through properly rather than burning on the outside. Thermoseal technology keeps the right balance of heat and moisture inside the oven cavity, so meat stays juicy and pastry turns out crisp. Six oven functions and seven simple control knobs mean you can switch between grilling, baking and roasting without fiddling with confusing settings.
Cleaning up is easier too. The Ever Clean enamel interior resists staining from everyday cooking, and the Vapour Clean function uses steam from a quick spray of water and detergent to loosen baked-on grease, so a wipe is often all it takes. Finished in stainless steel with Italian styling, the FS9606XS-1 sits comfortably in most kitchen layouts and holds up well to daily use.
