Why Buy?
Cinema-scale colour on an 85-inch screen built for serious viewing
The Samsung R85H 85 inch Micro RGB 4K Smart AI TV uses individually controlled red, green and blue micro-LEDs to produce colour and contrast that standard backlighting cannot match, giving you a picture that stays accurate and detailed whether you are watching in a dark room or a sunlit lounge.
Micro RGB HDR Pro pulls out detail hiding in both the brightest highlights and the darkest shadows, so action scenes, sport and nature documentaries all look sharper and more true to life. The Micro RGB AI Engine reads the content and the light in your room and adjusts the picture automatically, meaning you are not reaching for a remote to fix washed-out colours or a dim scene. Vision AI Companion also makes finding something to watch faster, offering instant suggestions with images and clips instead of endless scrolling through menus.
At 85 inches, this TV suits a lounge or media room where you want the screen to be the focal point without feeling oversized for the space. One UI Tizen brings your streaming apps together in one simple layout, and Samsung has committed to seven years of OS upgrades, so the system stays current well into the future. Knox security also covers any SmartThings devices connected to it, keeping your wider smart home protected.
Buy this if…
- You want an 85 inch screen that anchors a dedicated home cinema or media room
- You care about accurate, vivid colour rather than a picture that looks flat or washed out
- You watch a mix of bright daytime content and dark, detail-heavy films
- You want smart recommendations that cut down time spent searching for something to watch
- You run a Samsung SmartThings home and want your TV to fit into that ecosystem
