Why Buy?
OLED clarity and colour that fits a smaller room
The Samsung S90H 42 inch brings full OLED picture quality into rooms that cannot take a huge screen, so a bedroom, study or apartment lounge still gets deep blacks and true colour rather than a scaled-down compromise.
Each pixel on this 4K screen switches off completely for genuine black detail, so dark scenes keep their shadow detail instead of turning flat and grey. A glare-free, PANTONE-validated panel keeps colour looking natural even with daylight in the room, while AI upscaling lifts older shows and lower-resolution streams closer to a clean 4K image. Gamers get a 165Hz refresh rate with G-SYNC and FreeSync Quality Pro support, so fast-moving action stays smooth and free of tearing.
A slim LaserSlim design with a narrow bezel keeps the set visually light against the wall, which suits smaller living spaces where you do not want the screen to dominate. Samsung Vision AI is built in to help with everyday questions, and Samsung TV Plus adds free live channels with no extra subscription. A 4-star energy rating keeps daily running costs sensible.
Buy this if…
- You want a Samsung S90H 42 inch OLED without needing a large-screen room
- You watch dark or moody content and want real black detail, not grey
- You game regularly and want smooth, tear-free motion
- You want accurate, glare-free colour in a bright room
- You like having AI help and free live TV built into the set
