Why Buy?
Serious wok heat for kitchens with limited space
This 33cm ASKO gas hob adds proper wok cooking power to any kitchen without taking up a full cooktop's worth of bench space, thanks to its single Volcano burner built for high-heat stir-frying.
The concentrated flame throws out intense heat but uses up to 50% less gas than a standard burner, and it holds its temperature even when you drop in a cold batch of vegetables or meat. Stepless power regulation means you're not stuck jumping between fixed settings, you can dial in the exact heat a dish needs, from a slow simmer to a full-on stir-fry. The black glass surface wipes clean with a mild detergent, and the knobs, pan supports and drip tray lift out for a proper clean when needed.
Fitted as a domino unit, this asko gas hob slots in beside an induction cooktop or fills a gap in an existing bench layout, giving you a dedicated wok zone without a full cooktop swap. Around 67% of the gas burned goes straight into cooking heat rather than being wasted, which helps keep running costs down while still delivering the fast, responsive flame serious cooks look for.
Buy this if…
- You want strong wok heat without giving up bench space to a full cooktop
- Your current burner can't hold temperature once ingredients hit the pan
- You cook a lot of stir-fries and need fast, controllable heat
- You're after an extra cooking zone to pair with an induction hob
- You want lower gas use without sacrificing cooking performance
