Matte black has become one of the more popular alternative finishes in contemporary Australian kitchen design, and it's easy to understand why. The non-reflective surface is considerably more forgiving on fingerprints than polished black, and the flat tone works particularly well in kitchens with matte black tapware, handles and cabinetry hardware.
