Samsung 9kg Smart Heat Pump Dryer - White, DV91T6440LE
The Samsung 9kg Smart Heat Pump Dryer (model DV91T6440LE) combines advanced technology with energy efficiency to deliver optimal drying performance.
Key Features:
Dry with intelligence
AI Dry uses sensors to achieve the best results. It monitors the humidity & temperature to auto-adjust drying time, so laundry is ready quickly, and since the cycle ends when the machine senses the clothes are dry, it uses minimal energy1. It is even gentle on clothes and reminds you when to clean the Heat Exchanger2.
Wrinkle-free clothes
Reduce wrinkles and save time on ironing. Simply select Wrinkle Prevent and, once the drying cycle ends, it intermittently turns the drum without heat for up to 180 minutes. This helps prevent clothes from resting in one place for too long while they are hot and reduces creases on the fabric.
Personalised settings & control
Dry laundry easily and effectively with powerful Al Control. This Heat Pump Dryer personalises drying by remembering your habits, suggesting cycles and displaying timely information. It even selects the perfect drying course for a wash cycle3, while the SmartThings App4 provides advice on cycles, planning and troubleshooting.
Opens how you want
Choose the direction that the reversible door opens to suit the layout of your home. Just change which side it opens to fit the location, what’s around it and how you do things. It also means that walls won’t get in the way! And it is transparent, so you can check what’s inside with a glance.
1 When compared to dryer not using AI Dry
2 The Heat Exchanger automatically notifies you when it needs cleaning after every 300 cycles
3 Cycles will be arranged in accordance with the frequency of usage after 10 washes. Before 10 washes, the list will remain in its default sequence. Cycle suggestions continuously evolve according to usage patterns.
4 Available on Android and iOS devices. A Wi-Fi connection and a Samsung account are required.
5 2kg dried laundry or 4kg wet laundry
6 Based on independent testing by Intertek, by testing samples of applicable models to Samsung defined test protocol. Individual results may vary.

Why Buy?
Smart drying that saves energy and looks after your clothes
The Samsung 9kg Smart Heat Pump Dryer DV91T6440LE takes the guesswork out of laundry day, using built-in sensors to judge exactly when clothes are dry rather than relying on a fixed timer, so you get consistent results without wasting power.
Because the AI Dry function reads humidity and temperature as it goes, it stops the cycle the moment clothes are ready, which means less overdrying, softer fabrics and a noticeably lower power bill over time. Wrinkle Prevent keeps the drum turning gently for up to three hours after the cycle finishes, so you are not stuck ironing creases out of clothes left sitting in a hot drum. When you need extra hygiene, Hygiene Care uses high heat to help eliminate common bacteria from wet or dry items without slowing down drying time.
With a 9kg capacity, this heat pump dryer suits busy households doing regular full loads, and the 9-star energy rating helps keep running costs down. The reversible door can be set to open whichever way suits your laundry space, and the transparent window lets you check on progress at a glance. Over time, AI Control learns your habits and starts suggesting the right cycle, while the SmartThings app lets you keep an eye on things from your phone.
