Heat Pump dryer with ActiveAir Technology
ActiveAir Technology makes Bosch Heat Pump dryers amongst the most economical dryers in Australia. Energy is saved by reusing existing heat efficiently during the entire drying process resulting in less humidity and lint pollution in your home. Bosch Heat Pump dryers use a refrigerant instead of conventional dry heat to create warm air inside the drum that is evenly distributed. Simply put, no overheating. Garments are dried gently with one of three sensor controlled dryness targets: - Cupboard Dry for regular items. - Cupboard Dry Plus for thicker garments. - Iron Dry for items that still need a to be a little damp after drying for ironing or hanging up. If you feel that the laundry is too damp when the drying program has ended you can adjust the Drying Level for future uses of the program to make the program run longer. The large water condensation container stores water and can easily be emptied, allowing a Bosch Heat Pump dryer to be conveniently placed in almost any room within your home.
Automatic fluff-cleaning condenser.
Heat Pump Dryers with the Self Cleaning Condenser protect your clothing and remain highly energy efficient. Thanks to the Self Cleaning Condenser technology, the condenser is cleaned automatically, up to four times during the drying process, which maintains top energy performance cycle after cycle. Heat Pump Dryers from Bosch are designed to run efficiently whilst gently drying your clothes.
Bed linen programme with reversible drum
Stop bedding tangling in your dryer! The Bosch dryers with bed linen programme keep the sheets moving in both directions to prevent them from tangling around one another thanks to the large drum with reversing drum system. So all your large and small fabric items can be dried together while getting perfect drying results..
Automatically senses when your load is dried.
Load up to ten kilograms of laundry in your dryer or washer-dryer and Auto Dry will finish it to the exact level of dryness you want – whether that's dry enough to iron or extra-dry and ready to fold. Its sensors constantly measure the temperature and moisture to protect your laundry from high temperatures and over-drying. Get the perfect dry every time.

Why Buy?
Gentle, energy-smart drying for everyday family washing
The Bosch WQB235B8AU Series 8 heat pump dryer takes the guesswork out of laundry day, drying 8kg loads at lower temperatures that protect your fabrics while keeping running costs down. With a 10-star energy rating, it is one of the more efficient ways to dry clothes without waiting on the weather.
Because the heat pump reuses warm air instead of blasting dry heat, your clothes come out softer and last longer, with less shrinking and fading over time. Sensors track moisture as the cycle runs, so items stop drying the moment they reach the level you want, whether that is ready to fold or just damp enough to iron. The condenser cleans itself automatically during each cycle, so lint never builds up and efficiency stays consistent load after load. A reversible drum keeps large sheets and bedding moving freely instead of twisting into a tangled ball.
It is a practical fit for busy laundries, running quietly enough for daily use and connecting to the Home Connect app so you can check on a cycle from another room. Since it does not need external venting, you have more flexibility over where it sits in the house.
Buy this if…
- You want lower energy bills without switching to a smaller dryer
- Your household regularly washes bedding and mixed-size loads
- You care about clothes lasting longer between replacements
- You like checking or adjusting a cycle from your phone
- You need a dryer that fits a standard laundry without external venting
