Why Buy?
Even heating and cooling for open plan lounge areas
This Westinghouse split system delivers 7.95kW of cooling and 8.70kW of heating, enough grunt to keep a large open plan lounge or combined kitchen-dining space comfortable without a smaller unit struggling to keep pace.
Turbo mode pushes the room to your chosen temperature quickly on the hottest or coldest days, while sleep mode gently eases the setting up or down through the night so the unit is not clicking on and off and waking anyone. A self-clean cycle runs through the internal components at the push of a button, clearing dirt, mildew and bacteria build-up, and the Bio-HEPA filter helps keep the air feeling fresher between cleans. FollowMe lets the unit sense the temperature near your remote rather than at the wall, so the room feels right where you are actually sitting.
Wifi connectivity through the +Home app makes learning how to use a wifi air conditioner straightforward, letting you adjust the temperature, set schedules or check energy use from your phone. It also pairs with Google and Amazon voice assistants, so you can ask for a warmer or cooler room hands-free. A remote control is included for everyday use.
Buy this if…
- You need to heat or cool a larger room or open plan living space
- You want to control the temperature from your phone or by voice
- Your household prefers a steadier, quieter overnight temperature
- You would rather not clean the unit's internals by hand
- You want fast relief on extreme weather days
