Overview

Satisfyingly rich sound

The MCR-B043D includes Yamaha's Music Enhancer that restores what is lost when audio data is compressed (as in MP3s for example) to deliver sound that is more dynamic and has a greater feeling of expansiveness. What’s more, the speakers feature an 11 cm drive unit that uses a large-diameter magnet to deliver rich bass, clear mids and sparkling highs. The large-volume cabinet acts like a bass drum - further helping to produce a deep and robust bass.

An excellent 'no nonsense' digital radio with Blue ray playback. It would have been even better if it had an Ethernet network connection but for what it is performs well. If you need a spare radio in the kitchen for example, my case you can't go wrong.

This unit is super easy to connect, fun to use, looks great and has an awesome sound.
However, Bing Lee need to get their logistics and attention to detail in order as it took 11 days to get to me, there were errors in my particulars and slow email contact. But to the credit of Bing Lee personnel, they were all extremely cordial, polite and friendly making me feel a million dollars when I contacted them.
Quite happy.

Great stereo- DAB+ Radio sounds AWESOME on in!

I bought an ex demo model of this stereo from a store in Melbourne to put on my desk in the studio. The sound and performance is so good I bought a second unit, this time from Bing Lee to put into our living room. The wife was very happy that she can now easily find a radio station she likes. The unit also easily connects via to your computer or smart phone so that you can easily listen to Spotify and alike. The unit looks simple but it has a lot of good features... all made accessible by the simple remote. This is a great stereo for the price. Ideal for those who like their music in moderation. Also a great first stereo for your teenager!!
