Incredible picture, stylish, well priced (if you negotiate...everythings neogitable), internet on TV not so great.

I was buying this to replace a same sized 2d LED TV, which was entry level about a year ago which was also from Samsung.

I bought this TV because I'm a gadget freak and I wanted to play with the internet on the TV (not that exciting, would be good if you could order movies on demand) the connection to wireless devices (still haven't got THAT to work) and the 3d capability (which was fineish but if you are looking for a super immersive 3d experience go plasma and go BIG, 55in and above).

I think like to like, I good value, I was able to negotiate it down to only a few hundred more than the 7 series, but LED TV's are expensive compared to plasma prices and they shouldn't be.

What pleasantly surprised me about the new TV was that if you are actually wanting to use it (surprise surprise) as a TV, the 2d Quality vs my old Samsung 2d LED TV was really, really good. The picture is noticeably better. The 200hz vs 100hz seems to make a real difference.Colours are stronger, mostion is smoother, images are sharper and look less like a dreamy flashback in one of those US soap operas....basically better overall picture on everything from SD foxtel to Full HD bluray compared to the old LED TV.

If only they could integrate real content into the internet TV system instead of giving me 46 inches of the sort of stuff you get on an international flight...minus the on demand movies...Surely it can't be long before Apple starts making TV's and getting that part right....
Great TV
