Worked terrific as a convection oven, poor as a microwave (our $49 cheapie still works 200% better), until sadly one day about 4+ years without warning it stopped working.

As a convection oven it was terrific, though the microwave isn't worth your time (far too weak and uneven cooking). The conv. oven totally shames our 'real oven' which we stopped using after buying this. Great roasts, pizza, grill, cakes etc and it doesn't get too hot around it. It's pretty slick looking too. The flatbed really does make it easier to cook using larger, easy to find square and rectangular dishes without moving parts. If you use a microwave a lot (and want the advertised times to be realised e.g. 7-8 minute light & easy dinners take at least 9.5 minutes and even then it isn't evenly heated) I'd seriously recommend a different combination oven or keep a small cheap microwave on hand as we do. Our $49 cheapy (I think from bigw is 200% better. Considering when it first came out we paid (on special in the high $600's) it's a very serious investment so please consider your usage i.e. conv. oven vs microwave. It also takes a reasonable amount of benchspace so check your measurements carefully before buying. One sad day last year we woke up to find the display off and the product no longer working. It wasn't worth considering tech assessment out of warranty so now we are back in square one looking for a replace without the associated price tag.
