Be aware that you cannot operate the mincer attachment to the Kenwood mixer without this. The retailer I bought my Kenwood products from did not carry this attachment and did not know it was needed.

Simple to use, pity Kenwood makes it hard for older models to use the attachments. The little device gets around the problem. I bought the mincer attachment unaware of the compatibility problem.
