Bing Lee opens Chatswood and backs Swans

Bing Lee opened its new 770 square metre Chatswood store on Sydney's north shore in March. The new store, located on level six of the Chatswood shopping centre, sits opposite Borders bookstore.

Bing Lee previously had a Chatswood store in another location, but were forced to close it when the lease expired. The new store's opening comes almost exactly a year after the previous store closed.

Meanwhile, the company also announced it will continue its support of NSW sport by becoming a proud premier partner of the Sydney Swans AFL team for the next three years.

Bing Lee chief executive officer Lionel Lee says the sponsorship with the Sydney Swans is driven by the team's renowned strong family supporter-base and universal appeal across Sydney.

"The partnership fits perfectly with Bing Lee's family values and the desire to succeed. The sponsorship offers a platform for Bing Lee to continue working with progressive sporting organisations and their members; we are proud to be involved with one of Sydney's leading sporting teams," he said.

This new relationship adds to Bing Lee's support of Sydney centric properties. In 2007 Bing Lee began their support of Taronga Zoo by sponsoring the endangered Francois Langur monkeys and later in the year were announced as the major sponsor of Sydney Football Club.

Bing Lee opened up again in Chatswood and also announced It would sponsor the Sydney Swans AFL team.
